In addition to custom OEM optics, the Moorepark, CA location has a coating facility that is capable of depositing a variety of customer-specified optical thin films.  The facility specializes in the manufacture of narrow band and wide band high reflector coatings, as well as the design and production of a variety of high damage threshold coating for laser applications.  Additionally, this Gooch & Housego location has the capability to deposit metal films with either simple protective overcoats or enhanced overcoats, as well as depositing silicon and silicon carbide cladding to a defined maximum thickness.  We welcome the opportunity to meet our customers' most difficult thin coating requirements.

The Orlando facility of the Life Science and Instrumentation division enjoys a worldwide reputation as a leader and innovator in the field of optical radiation measurement.  It maintains a variety of primary shelf standards, including spectral irradiance, diffuse spectral reflectance, high intensity radiance, and a host of others.  The standards and calibration services supplied are directly traceable to NIST.  The facility can provide cost-effect OEM solutions, whether your need is to find a strategic partner to develop a solution for a newly designed photonic sensing problem, collaborative assistance in enhancing and manufacturing an existing product or sub-assembly, or outsourcing manufacturing services for a proven build-to-print instrumentation package.  Precision machine parts manufacturing services are offered, including CNC milling, CNC turning, and vibratory finishing.  Systems integration and spectral imaging software development are also available.
