The Gooch & Housego cavity dumpers are used with Argon, Dye, and Ti:Sapphire mode locked laser. It is designed to be used inside the laser cavity and separate a single optical pulse from the pulsed energy circulating in that laser cavity and re-direct it to a different optical path.
