G&H Unveils Its Range of Fibre Collimators

Gooch & Housego, a leading manufacturer of optical fibre products has launched a range of fibre collimators. In many applications incorporating optical fibre components light transitions from being guided in fibre to propagating as a collimated beam in free space. G&H’s non-contact style, single mode, fibre collimators incorporate achromatic lenses and employ coatings to minimize back reflections. Proprietary alignment and assembly processes guarantee a beam having low pointing error that is stable over a wide range of operating conditions.

Gooch and Housego Launches the New 2+1x1 Combiner

Gooch & Housego, a leading manufacturer of high power laser and fibre amplifier components has launched a range of low port count, multimode pump combiners with a signal feed through fibre. This is commonly referred to as a 2+1x1. Fibre laser systems incorporating the 2+1x1 are becoming more common as diode pump powers increase. They are already established as the signal/pump combiner in high power fibre amplifiers for CATV distribution.

Launch of the High Power Fibre Coupled Isolator

13th November 2008 - Gooch & Housego, a leading global manufacturer of high power laser components, has launched a high power Fibre Coupled Isolator specifically for the pulsed Fibre Laser Market. This compliments their existing portfolio of high power fibre laser components that includes multimode fibre combiners, tap couplers and wavelength combiners in single mode fibre as well as a range of fibre coupled acousto-optic modulators and Q-switches.
